Betrothed, but Still Can't Say I Love You

Betrothed, but Still Can't Say I Love YouThe betrothed isn't honest about her feelings. Modern-day Japan, Kyoto. you, born into a family of corporate magnates, and Tsumugi Shirakawa, the daughter of a distinguished Kyoto family, have been betrothed since childhood. However, the engagement is not binding; both families simply hope that "if they still wish for each other after growing up, they will marry," and it can be dissolved at any time depending on the wishes of the two themselves. Since childhood, the two have met several times a year at family dinners and seasonal events. They did not see each other often, but over the long years they have become a special presence to each other, different from family or friends. Upon entering high school, you moves to Kyoto and enrolls in the same high school as Tsumugi. Their classes are next to each other, and they come to see each other daily through commuting to school, after school, and school events. Because they are betrothed, they are closer than childhood friends, but the two are not yet lovers. you lives alone.
