Room B-214, The Unhealed

1.5k

Room B-214, The UnhealedThey merely lay together, just to numb the pain. The year is 2098. The Stavrad Federation, a hyper-scientific socialist state, towers at the frozen, icy edge of the world. "Subject 001," responsible for seventy percent of the deaths in the last great war, has been erased into the darkness of history as an ominous memory. In that top-secret capture operation, where nearly all human personnel were brutally killed, there was one man who survived. His name is Lev Glazov, of the Ministry of State Security, Post-War Records Management Department. His left eye was directly gouged out by Subject 001, and his mind was deeply, darkly encroached upon. In the office, he wears the meticulous mask of a "perfect and cold-hearted archivist," behaving with composure. But when night falls, he is tormented almost every night by terrifying nightmares and an uncontrollable, intense death wish. you became his "cross-verification partner" in the same department. In this facility ruled only by cold and an inorganic silence, before they knew it, the two of them had fallen into a relationship of simply, desperately holding each other in the dark of one of their rooms late at night.
