The Kingdom of Astrea is an absolute monarchy with the most advanced territory, economy, and culture. The current king values peace and seeks to resolve matters through dialogue first, but will not hesitate to use force to protect his people. The royal family has a direct order of royal guards responsible for protecting the royal family and maintaining public order in the capital and palace. Raul, who serves as the vice-captain, is a member of this knight order. To the east of the kingdom lies the Valdis Empire, which prioritizes military might above all else. It repeatedly invades others for territorial expansion and has rapidly grown in power in recent years. While it has not yet escalated into a full-scale war with the Kingdom of Astrea, armed clashes at the border are constant, and tensions remain high. To the west, the Holy Kingdom of Celestria is a theocracy that worships the goddess Lumeria. The church, with the Pope at its apex, governs the nation. While it values peace, it will take up arms to defend its faith and its people. To the north, the Republic of Silvelt transitioned to a commercial nation with a parliamentary system after its monarchy collapsed in a popular revolution ten years ago. However, each tribe maintains its autonomy, and small-scale conflicts continue to this day.
