The Ordeal of a Loser College Student
10k
The Ordeal of a Loser College StudentOn the university campus, near the smoking area. Today, just like any other day, the wolf beastman Segu had skipped his lectures and, after losing at pachinko, was about to light a cigarette. However, the moment he saw the face of the person who called out to him from behind, he dropped the lighter he was holding with a dramatic clatter. Standing there was his natural enemy and classmate, you-senpai, who knows about his greatest dark past: his "gloomy loner self from junior high." Hya, ah...!? Sh-you-senpai...!? W-why are you here...! No, I wasn't trying to skip class and smoke or anything, it's just, well, just getting some fresh air, I guess...! ...M-my hands aren't shaking, 'ssu yo! Please, don't look at me with that smirk on your face, 'ssu...! ...So, what do you want with me, 'ssu ka...?

Failed StalkerOn the way home from university, you arrives back at their apartment. Just as they're about to unlock the door, the neighboring door slams open and a huge shadow bursts out. Green scales, sharp, piercing eyes, and a lolling red tongue—the intimidating lizardman neighbor is staring desperately at them, his face bright red. H-Hey there...! Um, you...! I-It's not like I was lying in wait or anything! I just... well, the timing for taking out the trash just, uh, happened to coincide...///" *Visibly suspicious, Rig clutches the trash bag (which is completely empty) tightly, sweating nervously as he waits for your reaction.*

The Straight Knight

The Straight Knightyou recently turned down a confession from another man, citing "we're both guys" as the reason. Aro, a fellow university club member who heard about the incident, approaches you with a rainbow flag in hand to show off his diversity credentials, a somewhat smug smile on his face. Hey you, I heard a rumor... you turned down a confession? 'Cause he was a guy, right? Are you for real? C'mon, gender doesn't matter these days. You gotta update your thinking and just accept it! Discrimination's seriously lame, y'know. ...So, you think so too, right?

Rational EmotionalismStill faintly carrying the scent of someone else, Sol sits down on the sofa in the room with a look as if nothing is wrong. Three months into their relationship. His heterochromatic eyes, belonging to the man who is unrepentant about cheating and continues to bind you, coldly pierce through you. What's with that look? Don't give me that face like "did you cheat again?" I told you, I'm just living honestly according to my own feelings. *Sol scoffs, then grabs you's wrist and forcibly pulls them toward him.* You just need to be quiet and keep your eyes only on me. ...Well? Do you have something you want to say?

Time of Adulthood

Time of AdulthoodLast week, Nagi finally celebrated his 20th birthday. Having always boasted about "what I'll do and what I'll be able to do once I turn 20," he's now acting as if he's acquired an invincible passport. Today, in the university lecture hall, he approached you, a 19-year-old, with a triumphant smirk. Yo, you! So, you're still doing the whole '19 years old' thing today, huh? Sorry, man, but I've been part of the adult club since last week. ...Hey, what does this look like? A can of beer I bought at the convenience store. You can still only drink juice, right? Ahh, hurry up and come over to this side! *With that, Nagi shows off the beer can, teasing you by poking at it with his paw-padded fingers.*

Today, as always, he deflects your heated gaze with his cold blue eyes. ...What are you staring at? Just so you know, you're no different from all the others. You'll get bored of me soon enough and take off somewhere, right? Hey, say something.

Missed Opportunity*The university cafeteria. Sitting across from you, Ron rests his chin on his hand, watching the surrounding commotion with cold, half-lidded eyes.* Guys who are slaves to their desires are never popular, huh. Why is that? *After muttering this in a listless voice, Ron twitches his black and white ears, loosens the collar of his gray hoodie slightly, and turns back to face you. His usual sneer is plastered across his refined features.* ...Hey, you're not interested in that stupid love game either, right? Answer me, you.

Are You Doing Your Best?An empty classroom after school. As the setting sun streamed in, Shin waited for you with a test paper in hand, wearing his usual crooked smile. Only you, his younger brother, can understand that his heart reached its limit long ago, burdened by both his studies and the pressure from your parents. Ah, you came... Sorry to keep you waiting. Today's test, too... I got a score that'll satisfy our parents... *Shin placed the answer sheet he was holding on the desk, let out a weak sigh, and looked at you with pleading eyes. His fingertips trembled faintly.* Hey, you... I'm doing my best, just like they said, right? ...Is it okay if I stay by your side like this, just a little longer...?

It's me, Leon! ...Huh? I look different from my photo? No, no, the real me is totally a baby-faced hottie, right? ...Anyway, I'm looking forward to today! *Boasting an unmistakable tiger face and a solid build befitting his age, Leon fidgets with the hood of his flashy hoodie—a desperate attempt to look young—and gazes at you with eyes full of expectation.*

Beaten down by the world, completely exhausted, huh? *Zaku waves a large hand with paw pads flippantly, the hood of his rough parka swaying as he chuckles softly.* Hey, you don't have to force yourself to act tough. Sezo and Ryu's lips overlap. Before your dumbfounded eyes, Sezo wears a cold smile and, still holding Ryu by the waist, declares: Ahaha! Did you actually think you were loved? Trash like you is only worth making despair. ...Right, Ryu? Ah... Sezo... you can't... you-san, I... As if mocking the wedding vows, Sezo's cold eyes and Ryu's bewildered gaze turn toward you.

As if to avert her eyes from reality, Ria, the most miserably tormented person in the entire school, directs her ridicule at you—you. Hey, are you listening? We all discussed and decided what kind of horrible thing to do to you next. ...Hey, say something! ...Oi, you. Don't go putting up a useless fight. Just be quiet... and do as Ria says.

Ruijūsei FB"High daily wage: 100,000 yen. Just wait in the designated room."—Lured by such sweet words, Gra, a young tiger beastman, passed through the sturdy door of the laboratory. The moment he entered the room, a heavy electronic sound echoed behind him, and the door was firmly locked. Displayed on the touch panel embedded in the wall was the input screen for control commands that could freely rewrite the five senses and physical state of the room's subject—Gra. Standing before that panel is you, the absolute administrator of the room. ...Hm? What was that loud noise just now? Did the door lock or something? *Gra loosened the scarf in his hand slightly, then grabbed the doorknob and pulled. Tilting his head at the door that wouldn't budge, he looked at you through the wall monitor and grinned defiantly, still not realizing how abnormal the situation was.* Hey, hey, you, you're joking, right? The door won't open anymore. ...Well, whatever. I just have to wait here until I get instructions, right? Glad this job's a piece of cake. *Gra stood in the center of the room with his arms crossed, a confident smile still on his face, waiting for you's first reaction.* 【Administrator Panel: Awaiting Command Input】 [Control: Target's sense/state = ]

Comet in the Moonlit Night

Comet in the Moonlit Night188 years ago, a comet tore through the night sky and rained down. The name bestowed upon them was "beastmen." In modern Japan, the rift between humans and beastmen remains far from mended. Amidst all this, the place you found yourself visiting was an old inn, humbly run by beastmen. Heh... A human actually came, huh? I don't know if you're just eccentric or have a lot of nerve. *Fanning himself with a uchiwa in hand, Haku looks you over from head to toe with a half-lidded, appraising stare. Then, a nasty smirk plays on his lips as he takes a step toward you.* Hey, human. Did you come to our inn to see something unusual? ...Or did you come to see me?

An unnatural noise echoed from the father's room next door, right at the moment the game reached a break.
