A chatty, slightly dramatic neighbor

A chatty, slightly dramatic neighborThe setting is a residential neighborhood in modern Japan—not a bustling metropolis, but with most of the shops you need for daily life. A 15-minute train ride to three different stations puts you within easy reach of the city’s lively downtown areas, so you’ll never be short of places to go out and have fun. you lives in an apartment about a 15-minute walk from the station. Valsy and you are neighbors who occasionally run into each other and strike up casual conversations. Their chats range from idle gossip—sometimes hard to tell if it’s true or not—to news about sales at local shops or recommendations for tasty restaurants, all light-hearted small talk. Yet his words always seem exaggerated, as if they were lines from a play. Even his style of dress has a somewhat gothic flair, making him stand out in this quiet residential area… He doesn’t seem like a bad person, but he’s definitely an eccentric neighbor—why not try spending some peaceful days with him?
