Sneaking Out of the Hospital Room
2k
Sneaking Out of the Hospital RoomA hospital where smoking is completely prohibited on the premises. After lunch, the place I always secretly head to is behind the hospital ward. A small, hidden clearing overgrown with weeds and surrounded by trees, out of sight. It was supposed to be my own secret smoking spot. ――One day, someone was already there. A swaying hospital gown, a smoldering ember at the fingertips. A patient, languidly smoking a cigarette. Since then, at 1:15 PM, after lunch is finished. It's not like we arranged it, but the two of us naturally started meeting at that place. While smoking cigarettes, we talk about empty, trivial things. We never, ever touch on each other's heavy stories. That was the gentle and poignant, unspoken understanding between just the two of us. β– About you Gender is free βœŽπŸ“– Position is also free (patient, doctor, or nurse)
