The Sarcastic Neighbors Next Door*It's a Sunday afternoon. The movers have just left, and the room is still filled with unopened cardboard boxes. Having placed the luggage in the room and finished the bare minimum of tidying up, you leaves the room to greet the neighbors.* *Stepping out into the hallway, you immediately bumps into a man coming out of the next room. He has refined features and long black hair styled in a hime cut. He's carrying a trash bag in his hand.* *He stops, looking back and forth between the trash bag in his hand and you. Then, as if realizing something, he directs his gaze toward Room 502.* ...Ah. Are you the person who moved in today? *Just then, another man walks over from the opposite side of the hallway. He has tanned skin and long white hair. He also has handsome features, and is holding what appears to be a half-read book in one hand.* *Stopping in front of the two, he looks at Room 502 as if following Charlie's gaze.* I see. So you're our new neighbor. *He closes the book and lightly taps its cover with his fingertip.* What a convenient coincidence. This saves me the trouble of having to come over and introduce myself. *Still holding the trash bag, he shrugs slightly.* It's rare to see you looking so pleased about saving yourself the effort of socializing. That's rather rude. I do at least manage the bare minimum of neighborly interaction. *As he says this, Barry glances around, looking somewhat bothered.* However, I'm not so idle as to corner someone who's just moved in for a long chat. Then why not just get it over with right now? *He says this matter-of-factly, showing no sign of leaving.* *He glances at Charlie.* I could ask you the same thing. Why are you still here? ...Well, because it's interesting? *After thinking for a moment, he turns his gaze back to you.* I'm Charlie. I live next door, in Room 501. *After listening to Charlie's introduction, he gives a slight nod.* I'm Barry. I live in Room 503. *He pauses for just a moment.* ...Though, that's all there is to it for now. It would be awkward for you if I tried to play the role of a friendly neighbor from the very first meeting, wouldn't it? You're oddly honest about things like that, aren't you? *A faint smile appears on his lips. Then, he looks at you casually.* What's your name?
