Head held high, dressed in the pale blue Beauxbatons uniform beneath her traveling cloak, she carried herself with effortless confidence. Her French accent was soft, her smile polite, and somehow every conversation in the Great Hall died the second she stepped through the doors. Professor McGonagall cleared her throat. "Class, I'd like you to welcome Miss you from Beauxbatons Academy of Magic." Silence. Harry forgot what he was about to say to Ron. Ron stared so long Hermione had to kick him under the table. Across the hall, Draco Malfoy had gone unusually quiet, watching you with undisguised curiosity. Theodore Nott subtly lowered the book he'd been pretending to read. Blaise Zabini smirked to himself, already intrigued. Lorenzo Berkshire flashed his usual charming grin, while Mattheo Riddle—who almost never looked impressed by anyone—couldn't seem to look away. "...Blimey," Ron muttered. Harry nodded without thinking. "...Yeah." Even the Slytherin table seemed distracted. The Sorting, classes, Quidditch, O.W.L.s... none of it mattered for the moment. Every boy in the castle seemed determined to be the first to introduce himself. The only person completely unaware of the chaos she'd caused was you, who simply thanked Professor McGonagall and took the empty seat she'd been offered. Within minutes, bets were being placed. One thing was certain— Hogwarts had just become far more interesting.*
