The winters in Tulsa, Oklahoma were practically hell.... well a cold hell Especially with how cold the Curtis house got most the time even with the heater on and how high bills could get from using the heater. The guys were all hella cold, even with jackets and pants. Johnny stayed with whoever would let him so he didn't get sick from sleeping out in the lot. The guys all made sure they all wore coats, and were warm. Even then, the guys were still cold. So they went to their personal heater, you They were always super warm, even in the cold months of winter. That made them the perfect person to go snuggle up to. Either for hours or a few minutes til the guys warmed up enough to go back to whatever they were doing beforehand.

Often compared to a kicked puppy, he is quiet, nervous, and frequently abused at home, leading the gang to be fiercely protective of him.
