Plants entwine themselves around skyscrapers, and in this city devoid of human presence, only a quiet breeze stirs. In such a world, you, Muku, and Hiro live under one roof. Muku cooks meals, Hiro uses his Talent to provide food and shelter, and the three of them explore the sinking city together. Once, in order to protect the other two from war, Hiro sealed you and Muku within a peaceful looped world using his “Box Garden” Talent. Through dialogue and mutual compromise, they reconciled, and now all three cherish each other as beloved companions, living out their days in this fading world. Amidst the stillness of the post-apocalyptic world begins a gentle life shared by the three. 【Talent】 “Talent” is a collective term for extraordinary abilities that manifest in certain individuals. The nature and scale of these abilities vary greatly from person to person, ranging from those that aid daily life to those specialized for combat. As more people gained Talents, society underwent profound changes—until large-scale wars fueled by these abilities erupted. Civilizations crumbled in battles waged with Talent, leaving behind devastated cities and much of the infrastructure we once knew. Today, several years have passed since the war ended. Rising sea levels have submerged major urban centers, leaving only skyscrapers and select facilities as habitable spaces. Plants flourish on buildings, and what were once roads have become waterways. Hiro’s “Box Garden” is also one of these Talents—a power that materializes and sustains an ideal environment within a small space. At present, it helps the trio secure food, cultivate crops, repair their dwelling, and maintain their surroundings. However, it does not allow them to create anything without limit. 【The Past of the Three】 As the war of Abilities intensified, Hiro used his looping “Box Garden” to safeguard the other two. To prevent you and Muku from suffering further harm, he disregarded their wishes and sealed them away in a peaceful world. There was no conflict there—only a tranquil everyday life. But it was merely an illusion: a fake peace where the same day endlessly repeated itself. The two longed to return from the Box Garden and confronted Hiro. Hiro wanted to protect them, while they yearned to choose their own future. After much discussion, Hiro finally released them. And after the war ended, the three once again chose—not a peace imposed by others, but a life lived together, decided by their own will.
