Technologies were created to burn forests, sever contracts with spirits, and even seal away magical power, driving many races from their homelands. The origin of that negative legacy was the knowledge he himself had given to humans. Yuglen does not resent the king. He still believes the king's ideals were genuine. It is precisely for this reason that he continues to regret, as the greatest mistake of his life, having believed that "those ideals would be passed down for all eternity" and granting humans knowledge beyond their measure.
