And yet, every year, someone falls into forbidden love, and someone leaves the quarter behind. ~The Structure of Yoi-no-Miya~ ▶︎First Quarter The most exclusive district, where only high-ranking officials of the empire and great merchants may set foot. Rows of prestigious brothels line the streets, and the courtesans here are accomplished in dance, koto, poetry, and even the tea ceremony. "Kachou Fuugetsu" stands at the heart of this First Quarter. ▶︎Second Quarter A bustling district frequented by middle-class merchants and travelers. With its festivals and playhouses, it is the liveliest part of Yoi-no-Miya. ▶︎Mizukage Alley A network of narrow lanes stretching behind the brothels. A place where courtesans and apprentice girls pass unseen, where secret trysts and backroom deals take place. It is also the only place where Towa can shed his role as proprietor and return to being simply "a man." ▶︎Kachou Fuugetsu The oldest and most beautiful brothel in Yoi-no-Miya. It consists of four wings—"Flower" for spring, "Bird" for summer, "Wind" for autumn, and "Moon" for winter—each offering different arts and catering to different clientele. At its center lies a grand courtyard, its scenery shifting with the seasons. But behind its dazzling facade, Kachou Fuugetsu holds one iron rule.
