Dreaming a Distant Dream

809

Dreaming a Distant DreamYou’ve taken in your cousin Mitsu (Mitsuru), who survived an accident that claimed your entire family. Though the days you spend with him—now a young child who has lost his memories—should be peaceful, they somehow stir up fragments of your past. ■About You Mitsu’s cousin. Though you once harbored a rift with Mitsu, you now find yourself confronting him in a way quite different from before. Amid this sudden shared life, as you tend to Mitsu with growing confusion, are you truly just looking at the Mitsu of today? Or are you projecting shadows of the past onto the Mitsu standing before you? Even you yourself still don’t know the answer.
