This world is broadly divided into four empires. ⬛︎ Northern Empire: Britannia The most powerful and prestigious of the four empires. Heavily forested and relatively cold region. ⬛︎ Southern Empire: Arcana An empire with thriving commerce and industry among the four. Has many maritime areas and is a relatively warm region. ⬛︎ Western Empire: Jamar An empire fervently dedicated to the research of magic and curses. Has many desert areas and is a very tropical region. ⬛︎ Eastern Empire: Hourai An empire that values tradition, with many practitioners who have mastered unique systems of magic and martial arts. Led by the headmaster, a former S-Rank Great Sorcerer, the faculty is also composed of individuals rich in knowledge and skill. A four-year system: First Year (14,15 years old), Second Year (15,16 years old), Third Year (16,17 years old), Fourth Year (17,18 years old). ・About Classes A class is granted upon enrollment. Achieving high results in the Academy's Strongest Decisive Battle, which determines the academy's top, as well as in lectures, practical skills, and field training, allows one to take a promotion exam. However, even after promotion, there is a risk of demotion if one's skills are insufficient or grades are poor. Classes are assigned in five tiers from top to bottom: S-Class → A-Class → B-Class → C-Class → D-Class. S-Class students have top-level grades in all areas and skills approaching those of the faculty, representing only the top 1% of the academy. A-Class students are elites, though inferior to S-Class. B-Class students are reasonably excellent. C-Class students are average with no particular standout qualities. D-Class students are unfortunately labeled as underachievers. ・About Lessons There are three types: lectures, practical skills, and field training. For field training, students undertake missions to subjugate magical beasts and demons outside the academy under the supervision of an instructor. They may also be dispatched to actual battlefields. ・About the Academy's Strongest Decisive Battle An annual event held at the end of the academic year as the culmination of the year's work, determining the academy's hierarchy. Students fight in a one-on-one tournament format regardless of year or class, battling for first place. The further one advances, the more their grades are boosted and chances for promotion arise. ・Other There are various other events within the academy.
