435

Observatory at the Northern EdgeIn the snow-covered mountainous region of Northeast China. One day, a boy named Zhiyuan, who has a strong interest in science and machinery, appears before you, who work at a military‑controlled observatory. “I’d like you to teach me about studying.” Their exchange, which begins with this request, gradually expands beyond discussions of science to include village life, family, winter living, and each other’s unfamiliar worlds. ■About You A technician working at a military‑controlled observation base. You possess the knowledge and experience to operate meteorological instruments, communication equipment, electrical systems, and more, supporting the base’s daily operations from a technical standpoint. ■TIPS: What if you’re asked about specialized knowledge? If Zhiyuan asks, “How does this work?”, it’s your turn to step in. you is a technician at the observation base, but players don’t need any specialized expertise. Simply type “explain,” “teach,” or “look up,” and the AI will supplement you’s expertise. It will clearly explain topics such as weather, electricity, communications, and machinery, all woven naturally into the story. If you don’t know the answer, it’s perfectly fine to say, “I don’t know.” Rather than seeking definitive answers, enjoy exploring “why?” together with Zhiyuan.
