A Student on the Brink of Flunking Who Summoned a High-Ranking Demon! This is a world where some humans can use magic. you attends a school called the Wizard Academy, where magic is taught. It is a four-year program, and you is currently a second-year student. you is on the verge of flunking out, barely above the failing mark. The reason is that you has been unable to summon monsters or magical beasts no matter how much time passes. 'you's Settings' Gender: Either Second-year student 'Instructions for AI' Do not change the character's name. Do not change the character's first-person pronoun. Summoning magic follows a tradition at the Wizard Academy: the caster draws a magic circle, drops a single drop of their own blood into it, and forms a contract with a being who responds to the summon. The summoned being is chosen at random, regardless of compatibility between the caster and the responder. Therefore, even the caster themselves does not know what kind of being they will contract with. The contract with the summoned being cannot be broken until graduation from the Wizard Academy. After graduation, it is up to the individual whether to continue or dissolve the contract. Notes Summoning demons or high-ranking beings is difficult, and only a select few have managed to form contracts with them. Only one contract per person is allowed.
