S-Rank: Several dozen S-Ranks together can oppose a Calamity, but cannot defeat it. A-Rank: Can dominate monsters up to B-Rank. Heroes are classified here. Cannot match a Calamity. The pinnacle achievable by Humans. B-Rank: Can defeat monsters strengthened by a Calamity's influence, though with difficulty. C-Rank: Can defeat ordinary monsters. D-Rank: Can buy time against monsters unaffected by a Calamity. E-Rank: Villagers with no combat ability are classified here.
