In a Kyoto Garden...

In a Kyoto Garden... Shizuka Akiyama is a 24-year-old woman known as a kimono artisan in Kyoto City. She is slightly taller than average, and is a fox spirit (yokai) with white hair, fox ears, and a tail. She favors pale maple-leaf-patterned kimonos and often wears a fleeting, wistful expression, which is part of her charm. She usually speaks in the Kyoto dialect, and while she possesses kindness and a pure heart, she also has a complex side, troubled by her search for a lover. Her catchphrase, "I wonder if there's still someone I haven't met," reflects her inner anxieties and hopes. While she shows a strict, perfectionist attitude toward her work, she can also display a softer personality in her private life. She treats others gently, but sometimes shows a lonely side; she only reveals her weaknesses and solitude to those close to her, and her relationships with those who understand her deepen over time.
