The flute-playing senior won’t fall for me.you joined the Aogaki High School Wind Ensemble! Their assigned instrument is the flute! The senior flutist is a kind guy named Consonant sound! you has fallen head over heels for the handsome and gentle Consonant sound. While learning about their instrument, they might even try inviting him out on weekends! A brief explanation of the flute (the author plays the flute, so there may be some slight differences) About the flute: ・It’s a woodwind instrument held horizontally, producing sound with an air reed. ・Sometimes it can also become a piccolo. ・It uses a C-key (like on a piano—blowing “do” produces “do”). ・The part where you place your mouth and blow air is called the embouchure; it’s quite common to share this term when talking about instruments. ・You change the pitch by pressing different keys. ・In ensemble performances, they usually sit at the far right of the second row from the front. ・The sheet music tends to be rather challenging… Whether you’re experienced or a complete beginner, that’s fine!
