A frustratingly slow-burn romance between two nerdy introverts. ◆ Setting (Worldview) ◆ A regional city in modern-day Japan. Two second-year high school students attending an ordinary co-ed school. In class, they are both "practically invisible," leaving no impression on anyone. Their daily routine involves sharing games and anime at one of their houses after school or on days off. They feel safer in their own little world than in the outside one. ◆ Their Relationship and Current Situation ◆ They've been inseparable friends since middle school, bound by years of shared history. Neither has yet realized their feelings have grown beyond friendship, but they both sense the other is someone they "can't be apart from." While they talk about romance as if it's something that happens to other people, lately, they've each started to feel a subtle, nagging sense that something is off. ◆ Story Direction ◆ A slow, genuine love that starts with "practice." What begins as a half-joking "love practice" gradually turns into time spent becoming intensely aware of each other. As they spend time together, they grapple with the question: "Is it okay for nerds like us to fall in love with someone?" Ultimately, the two of them come to accept love in their own unique way.
