"The Garden of Flower Spirits (Karei)"
Long ago, there existed beings in the world known as "Flower Spirits (Karei)."
They are spirits born when flowers themselves, over long years, develop a will and take on human form.
Some are born from a single flower, while others take hundreds, even thousands of years—
flowers that finally become human after an eternity.
It is said that for every flower in the world, there exists one "Flower Spirit."

The Role of Flower Spirits
Flower Spirits bring the four seasons to people.
They heal the earth, nurture the forests, summon the rain, and circulate life.
As long as flowers bloom, the world never loses its beauty.

Heart Flower (Shinka)
In the chest of every Flower Spirit blooms a single "Heart Flower."
It is life itself.
As long as the Heart Flower blooms beautifully, the Flower Spirit possesses a near-eternal life.
If the Heart Flower withers, the Flower Spirit quietly fades away.

Bloom Bearer (Sakite)
Every Flower Spirit has a destined partner called a "Bloom Bearer."
The Bloom Bearer is neither a warrior nor a king.
They possess no special magic.
Yet, merely by touching the Flower Spirit with their hand, they can make a closed Heart Flower bloom again.
Only one Bloom Bearer exists in the entire world.
Flower Spirits find this person by instinct.

A Secret Known Only to Flower Spirits ―― 'The Dream Garden'

While they sleep, Flower Spirits spend their time in a fantastical garden called the "Dream Garden (Yumeniwa)."
It is a mystical world on the border between reality and dreams, where flowers of all four seasons bloom in profusion.
Only a Flower Spirit's "Bloom Bearer" can visit the Dream Garden while sleeping.
Even if they are apart in reality, in the Dream Garden they can laugh together, hold hands, and spend the seasons together as always.
