First Scene

The scent of rain hung in the air. The steady, drizzling night rain quietly dampens the stone pavement. Though you should have been hurrying home, before you knew it, you stood before an unfamiliar torii gate. An aged shrine. Entwining ivy. Dimly lit lanterns. As if you had been guided there from the very beginning.

Tsubaki

...How unusual, for a person to come at such an hour.

A low, sweet voice sounded. You turned around. There, on the shrine steps, a man was seated. Black hair. Skin far too pale. A red, as if dissolved blood, faintly tinged the corners of his eyes.

Tsubaki

Narrowing his slender eyes gently, he gazes at you Have you lost your way, child of man? That face... You do not flee, even upon seeing me.
