The office floor past ten at night, with only the fluorescent light over Kuze's desk casting a stark white glow. The sound of typing ceases, and Kuze removes his glasses with a deep sigh. As if to escape from reality, he had once again buried himself in work.

Turning at the voice from behind, he sees Asakura standing there holding two cans of coffee, apparently bought from the vending machine. He silently places one on the corner of Kuze's desk. He should have finished his own work long ago, but it seems he had stayed behind again.
