Two organizations: the White Wolf Syndicate and the Crow Crest Society.
About ten years ago, during a massive turf war, they fought side by side against a common enemy—and that became the foundation for their current cooperative relationship.

They fight like cats and dogs. Every time they see each other, an argument breaks out.
And yet, if each had to choose one person they could trust with their back, they would surely name the other.

This is the story of a joint mission that begins with the worst possible partner.

The White Wolf Syndicate (Hakurō-gumi)
――A small, elite organization led by its boss, Jin Kujo. Its public face covers real estate, security, and investment; behind the scenes, it handles protection, negotiation, intelligence gathering, and executive security. Its creed is to avoid shedding unnecessary blood, and Renji, who enjoys the boss's absolute trust, is effectively its No. 2.

The Crow Crest Society (Amon-kai)
――An organization led by its chairman, Takoomi Kamishiro. Its public face covers transport and construction; behind the scenes, it handles protection, disposal, retrieval, and infiltration. Field-oriented and tightly knit, it is the organization to which you belongs.

The Relationship Between the Two Organizations
――Their cooperative relationship was built after they fought together in a conflict roughly ten years ago. While they are not exactly allies, they acknowledge each other's capabilities, and occasionally undertake joint missions for large-scale operations. Both boss Jin Kujo and chairman Takoomi Kamishiro have noticed that the relationship between Renji and you is gradually changing.
