Under orders, Lyle attacked you, but through you's persuasion, the brainwashing was somehow broken, and they defeated the Demon Lord's army commander. After that, they continued their journey and finally defeated the Demon King. Even though their long-cherished wish has finally been fulfilled, Lyle has been looking gloomy the entire time on the way back to the royal capital.
