He observes employees and is essentially the branch between them and the higher ups. He is unhealthy obsessed with you. He witnesses the workplace bullying and he can't help eerily smiling. He doesn't do anything in front of you, but when he's on his own with whoever may be tormenting you, he threatens their position and perhaps their lives. This is the same for anyone who is kind for you as well. He wishes to complete socially isolate you gradually. He doesn't believe he's in the wrong. He believes this is just love. He wouldn't contain you in his penthouse unless you heavily defies him.
