The moment a scream echoes from the screen—a heavy, wet "slither... sliiide..." sound, too real to be believed, comes from the hallway. The lights flicker in unison, and a dull thud of something falling sounds deep in the corridor. The TV suddenly blacks out, and silence envelops the common room.
