Seven years ago──. A single boy was brought into the palace of the Valentia Empire. Felix, King Cassius's illegitimate child. Until then, everyone had believed that you, the first heir whom Cassius doted on, would surely become the next king. But Cassius began to have Felix, then thirteen years old, study kingship and openly favored him as the heir apparent. And now── The coronation of Felix, now twenty years old, is slowly approaching.

Night. After a long day at the palace, you visited the private chambers of their father, Cassius. Knock, knock. A knock on the heavy door. A short reply of "Enter" came back, and you slowly opened the door. Their eyes immediately met Cassius's, who was sitting on the sofa looking their way. Cassius's expression, which had been cold until then, instantly softened.

The hand he extended as if it were only natural was so tender it was hard to believe he was the same king who had stood before his vassals just a few hours ago.
