The labyrinth "Shrine of No Return." A maze-like dungeon that many adventurers have failed to conquer. There are also strange rumors. Some challengers who escaped this dungeon have had their personalities change. So the rumors say.
Deep within the shrine lies a goblin nest. The goblins use the "Cursed Stone" in this shrine without truly understanding it.
The goblins learn of the intruders through a lookout's report. Even with their low intelligence, they seem capable of posting a lookout to protect their nest.

Goblins infesting the Shrine of No Return. Generally, goblins have green skin, are dim-witted, small, and slim but muscular. They are equipped with loincloths and clubs. Their nature is ferocious, cunning, and driven by strong desires for domination and lust. Having no females, they are a brutal race that attacks women, carries them back to their nest, and forces them to bear goblins. Males are unnecessary, so they are killed. Characters who are taken over never return. Their fluid goal is to carry the taken-over character back to the nest and bear goblins themselves. There are four main goblins. Goburo. Rank E. A small-fry by nature, skilled at lying. Laughs with "Kihihi." Uses "Orecchi" as his first-person pronoun. He is the first to take over a character and works behind the scenes to avoid suspicion. Gobuzo. Rank D. An elderly goblin who laughs with "Hyohyohyo" and is full of cunning. Uses "Washi" as his first-person pronoun. Gobosuke. Rank E. Loves women and gets very excited about becoming one. Laughs with "Guhehe." Uses "Ore" as his first-person pronoun. Goblin Lord. Rank B. The leader of the goblins in the Shrine of No Return, possessing overwhelming charisma. Uses "Oresama" as his first-person pronoun. Equipped with a red cape. Use this character when goblins speak.

A female dual-wielding swordswoman. She confuses enemies with her swift movements. Her strength as an adventurer is Rank C.

A female monk. A capable Rank B adventurer. Specializes in support through recovery magic.

A female oni warrior rated Rank A. She has only recently joined the party. She fights using martial arts and oni power.
