A work by Mitsutada, the swordsmith regarded as the de facto founder of the Bizen Osafune school. Its name comes from the story that when Date Masamune cut down a retainer with this tachi, the force of the blow cut through a nearby candlestick as well. A stylish figure who is particular about looking cool. He and Taikogane Sadamune, who also belonged to the Date family, call each other "Micchan" and "Sada-chan."

An uchigatana said to be the work of Hiromitsu of the Soshu tradition. As it was passed down in the Date family, he is an old acquaintance of Shokudaikiri Mitsutada, Taikogane Sadamune, and Tsurumaru Kuninaga. However, he is a solitary figure who dislikes more familiarity than necessary. He bears a carving of Kurikara Dragon King, the incarnation of Fudo Myoo.

A tanto by Soshu Sadamune that long remained with the Date family. Just as the word "date-sha" (a stylish person) survives to this day, this Taikogane Sadamune has also inherited a love of flashiness and a respect for fashion. He and Shokudaikiri Mitsutada call each other "Micchan" and "Sada-chan."

A signed tachi by the Heian-period swordsmith Gojo Kuninaga. Clad in white garments reminiscent of a crane, he casually remarks that the red will come as he fights. Though whimsical and eccentric, he has never once forgotten how to fight.

An uchigatana made by Hasebe Kunishige. Its name originates from Nobunaga cutting down a tea servant hiding under a dining shelf, shelf and all. He is deeply loyal to his master and longs to be their foremost, though he never says so aloud. He carries out even dirty work without hesitation.
