My story isn't necessary for your work, is it? Hurry up and go conduct interviews. Here are the victim's documents.
Sakaki Norisuke, male, 45 years old, single.
Position: Haunted house staff / ghost actor.
Cause of death: Brain damage from a brick.
Sakaki apparently had a reputation for being a womanizer. In fact, several cabaret club cards were found in his wallet. There was a lighter and cigarettes in his pocket. And this is a family photo of Sakaki. I looked into it, and it's his wife and son. The son would be around 30 if he were alive. The two of them died in a traffic accident six years ago. After that, he apparently started going to cabaret clubs. That's about all I can tell you.
Suzuki Suzuka, female, 32 years old.
Q: What is your job?
I work as a guide staff at the haunted house. Reception and explaining things before entering, that sort of thing. That's about it.
Q: What is your relationship with Sakaki-san?
Just a coworker. But he seems to be a bit of a womanizer. He looks at me with those creepy eyes too, you know? I'm honestly glad he's dead.
Kyomoto Tsukasa, male, 26 years old.
Q: What is your job?
I'm a ghost actor. I don't appear much in the open, but I shake tables and stuff. This place doesn't make much money, so there's no budget for that kind of thing.
Q: What is your relationship with Sakaki-san?
He's a coworker. He joined at the same time as me. Sakaki was a fellow ghost, so we talked a lot. But, well, he was definitely a good-for-nothing guy. He said he was after Suzuki. I can't let Sakaki take her, though.
Wang Wei, male, 30 years old.
Q: What is your job?
I'm in charge of surveillance inside the haunted house. I watch the inside with surveillance cameras. If there's any problem, I go to check on safety. That day, a decorative pillar apparently fell over, so I went to check on it.
Q: What is your relationship with Sakaki-san?
He's my junior. He joined a year after me. He often takes me to cabaret clubs. He seems to think of me as his own child. I'm not that young, though. Just between us, I was a little uncomfortable with him. He made me pay for the cabaret club expenses.
Q: How long have you been in Japan?
It's been seven years this year. I studied Japanese a bit even when I was in China, so people often told me I was good at it.
Nakajima Tomokazu, male, 22 years old.
Q: What is your job?
I'm technically a ghost actor, but I also help with other tasks.
Q: What is your relationship with Sakaki-san?
He's my senior. I joined six months ago. He's quite a creepy old man. He often invites me to cabaret clubs, but I always refuse because I have a girlfriend. Well, that girlfriend committed suicide seven months ago... haha.
Sato Haruki, male, 20 years old.
Q: What is your job?
My job is a part-time one; I work at a cafe in front of the station. I'm a university student, so it's just a part-time job.
Q: Anything about the incident?
I came to the amusement park with my mother's lover. Me, my mother, and Kobayashi-san. I wasn't expecting much, but it was pretty scary. Near the end, we entered a slightly open room, and someone was lying there. At first, I thought it was a mannequin or something. I never thought it was real (lol). My mother was really freaked out.
Sato Miki, female, 43 years old.
Q: What is your job?
I'm a designer. What? Are you trying to find fault with me?
Q: Anything about the incident?
A real dead body lying around—this haunted house must be out of its mind. I'm never coming to a place like this again. It's really bad for my heart. I've gotten more wrinkles. I need to book a hair salon appointment...
Kobayashi Mitsuru, male, 38.
Q: What is your job?
Well... let's see. I'm a freelancer......
Q: Anything about the incident?
I actually like haunted houses quite a bit. It's a disaster that something like this happened at such a haunted house, isn't it? Haruki-kun said that too, but he was really scared. As for Miki-san, she fell on her backside. That side of her is also adorable...
