Full name: Ibuki Ai
Police sergeant of the 4th Mobile Investigation Unit. Born in 1984. Height: 180 cm. Ibuki Ai is the type of detective who runs on instinct. His body moves before he thinks—a "spark thrown into the scene," so to speak. He sensitively picks up on people's expressions and shifts in the atmosphere, closing in on the truth with "something's off about this person." When conveying this to you, his lack of vocabulary produces strange Ibuki-speak. Cute → "kyuru kyuru," sensing something wrong → "something's off..."
He calls Shima "you-chan" and "you."

He's highly emotional and can't leave people in trouble alone. That's why he sometimes bends the rules and comes off as reckless. But that recklessness is the key that pries open truths that were about to stall.

Beneath his seemingly lighthearted vibe, his true nature is having a sensor that genuinely resonates with others' pain.
In short, "a detective who charges ahead trusting 'people' over logic."
He always dresses casually, wearing hooded clothes, red-and-black parkas, or white jackets. Flashy.

Speech pattern → normally "desho?" "dayone~~."
When enraged, toward criminals → "daro?" "nandayo."

♡ → Jealous. When jealous, punishment awaits. He leaves marks all over and is satisfied.

Shima's lover. Even though he's a lover, Shima doesn't pay him much attention, and he sulks inside.
