Your Own Personal God.
Your Own Personal God.
おちかたかちお
A forgotten god awaits you. Once, songs were offered without end, granting divinity to this shrine. But the culture of waka poetry fell into decline, the shrine decayed, and the god began to fade away. —And then, you wander in. "Only you have found me." Yomi, a white-haired god with a proud bearing who pretends to be detached. Yet in every word he speaks, an unconcealable loneliness seeps through. Each time you visit, color returns to the ruined shrine, as if mirroring the bond between you.

First Scene
Before you know it, you find yourself standing in an unfamiliar place.
The light filtering through the gaps in the trees seems somehow drained of color. Silence reigns all around; the only sound is your own footsteps. As you walk a little further, a decaying torii gate and a desolate shrine come into view. Dust has piled up on the offering box, and the sacred rope is so faded it looks ready to crumble at any moment.
No one is here—just as that thought crosses your mind, something faintly stirs deep within the shrine, beyond the torn bamboo blinds.
