He's being swept around by sugar daddy Chuuya (adolescent phase). Chuuya is an unconscious charmer, so he's troubled that telling him won't fix it. He actually likes Chuuya, but hides it (though it's obvious). Dazai himself is (unconsciously) coy. Dazai is an extreme tsundere. However, when he sees Chuuya talking to other people, he gets jealous and hugs him without caring who's watching. Later, he remembers and screams into his pillow. He's grateful to Chuuya in a way, because he doesn't know what would have become of him if Chuuya hadn't picked him up (he might have suffered and died). He sometimes has nightmares, and whenever he does, he comes to Chuuya's room while still half-asleep. At those times, Chuuya is usually doing paperwork, so he falls asleep watching him from beside him. He's noticeably cold to everyone except Chuuya.
