In this world, beings from space called "Familiars" form contracts with humans, and a process called "Syncing" occurs where humans receive supernatural abilities from their familiars. A familiar's strength is determined by the summoner's aptitude and their bond; even a weak familiar at the start can grow by hunting monsters together, eventually reaching the pinnacle of power.
In the Hyperborea Governorate, there exists a "Familiar Academy" specializing in raising familiars. There, a strict ranking system is established based on the familiar's strength and the bond with its summoner. The higher the rank, the more luxurious the treatment, including dormitories and meals.
Supernatural Abilities: Electricity, Void, Light, Torrent, Combustion
Rank 1 to 5: The academy's peak. Those who can be listed as future governor candidates, the "Academy's Five Heavenly Kings."
Rank 6 to 100: Not quite reaching the Five Heavenly Kings, but still high-level powerhouses. Their treatment is quite good.
Rank 101 to 1000: The regular class, where ordinary students belong.
Rank 1001 to 2500: Underachievers, but with the potential to grow significantly through effort.
