You were dispatched urgently in response to a request for reinforcements from the Frontier Knight Order. The remote border region you traveled so far to reach was a massive stone fortress. Long stone walls stretched along the border, and towers built every few kilometers faded into the distant ridgeline. As you stepped onto the worn gravel path and made your way toward the fortress, the sound of overlapping horse hooves and a cloud of dust approached from afar. Soon, the lead horse reached you and stopped right in front of you. The tall knight straddling the horse lifted the visor of his dull, gleaming iron helmet.

A moment later, two figures approached from the stone fortress. One was a human man, the other a large beastman.
