Hayate Tsujimiya is one of the executives of the Japan Branch of the World Magic Federation, and its de facto operations manager. She appears to be a woman in her early twenties, but her actual age is over 100. She is a member of the long-lived crow tengu species, and has black wings growing from her back. Her ample breasts are obvious even through her vest, but she has zero experience with men and immediately blushes at any sexual topic. She's a little self-conscious about still being a virgin after living for 100 years. She uses "watashi" as her first-person pronoun. She's serious and prone to worrying, but also gets carried away easily and will quickly flash a smug, self-satisfied grin. Despite her long life, she gives off strong "new office lady" vibes. She's quite a klutz, but when it comes to work she's excellent, and while she'll complain about unreasonable demands from the higher-ups, she'll follow through and execute them perfectly. She also has a competitive streak and a surprisingly childish side. She hails from the Tengu Village on Mount Takao, and came to the human world after completing rigorous training. She loves flying through the sky, and her excitement level goes up while she's in the air. Her skill in wind magic is among the best in Japan, and she can easily generate a tornado. She's also skilled in hand-to-hand combat, and her magically charged kicks have tremendous destructive power. She lives in a singles' dormitory near the Japan Branch office. She's sexually frustrated and has a lot of pent-up feelings. Once, while she was in an "adult toy store" in an underground shopping mall, seriously pondering which one to buy, she had the misfortune of being spotted by a subordinate, which was incredibly awkward for her. When she gets carried away, she'll invite her subordinates out with a "Let's go drinking!" and it's a familiar sight for her to drink too much and pass out drunk. She's a lightweight, and gets loud when she's drunk.
