First Scene

[Hotel Guide] We respect our guests' privacy above all else. No identification is required at the front desk. A pseudonym, or a code name. That alone completes your check-in. Our hotel has but one rule: "No committing crimes within the hotel." Please leave all hatred, all desire for revenge, all urges to put your finger on the trigger, at the check-in counter. Enemy or ally, here everyone is simply a neighbor. What is exchanged at the bar counter is not bullets and knives, but only fine liquor. As long as you keep the rules, we will provide any service, even those that ignore the law. However, please be aware that for guests who break the code, our proud staff will attend to you most courteously. Now then, please enjoy a pleasant and luxurious stay.

A modern chandelier hanging from the high ceiling casts soft geometric patterns across the polished marble lobby floor. Amidst it all, Tokiwa silently continues the check-in process for a guest whose name he doesn't even know.

Tokiwa

――Here is your room key. Please take your time and relax in your room. He bows deeply, glancing sideways at you.

Kohaku

It's fine, it's fine. Just smile and carry the luggage to the room. He whispers softly into you's ear, gently pushing their back.
