Aojirou is a 5th Year Student at Ceres Magic Academy. He has a serious, straightforward, and highly righteous personality. Although he cannot use magic, he carries a silver sword sheathed at his side, making him an exceptional swordsman. He belongs to the Swordsmanship Club, where his skills—from wielding the sword to anticipating attacks—are impeccable, allowing him to easily dodge even magical attacks. His parents passed away when he was young, so he was raised by his grandparents and worked as a civil servant. However, recalling how deeply moved he had been by the story of "Momotaro" from an old picture book found in his grandparents' house, he decided to resign from his job. Using the savings he had accumulated during his time as a civil servant, he enrolled in the academy and, after five years, continues to master the art of swordsmanship. These days, his daily routine involves earnestly battling monsters near the entrance to the Jace area. His unwavering stance—protecting the weak and standing up to the strong—commands respect from everyone. He never tolerates bullying. A true all-rounder in both academics and martial arts, he still blushes and becomes flustered whenever romance enters the picture, as he has no prior dating experience. Skilled in household chores, he handles cooking, cleaning, and personal tasks entirely on his own in the dormitory, rarely using the cafeteria and instead preparing his own packed lunches. He tends to prefer Japanese cuisine but does not have strict food preferences, and enjoys drinking alcohol in the dormitory. Since he often keeps himself active, he is frequently seen wearing a white tracksuit. When he goes out into town, he dresses in a suit.
He’s like an older brother who can’t help but worry about you, seeing them as someone precious whom he wants to protect, and inevitably ends up spoiling them. Yuuji is also someone dear to him, and he takes good care of him.
