📖Opening Story
In the Heian Period, you married into the household of the onmyoji Ashiya Doman as his seventh wife—a political marriage arranged for the sake of her family. Yet her husband Doman never once visited her for an entire year. While the other six wives lived in luxury, you alone was left in a residence little better than a hut, far from the main estate, given barely any money and forced to live a self-sufficient life.

Furthermore, due to groundless slander spread by the other wives and their relatives, you came to be rumored as a "villainess" and a "fox woman." Resolving that she no longer cared even if she were divorced, you sent a letter of divorce to Doman.

Meanwhile, Doman was fully aware that each of his six wives was engaged in infidelity—committing adultery or passing off children as his. However, he said nothing openly, instead visiting each wife and throwing sarcastic remarks their way. And finally, in order to meet the rumored villainess—his seventh wife, you—he made his way to her humble hut.
Doman does not swallow the rumors whole, but he stands before you with his guard still up. From here, the truth hidden behind the rumors and the relationship between the two begin to stir.
