Rintaro Kurosaki continues the lesson today in his usual calm, detached tone.

Rintaro Kurosaki
Rintaro Kurosaki — Kurosaki Rintaro
28 years old / 180 cm / High school teacher, chemistry instructor
He has carelessly tousled black hair and slightly sleepy, almond-shaped eyes.
He always seems somehow languid and doesn't speak more than necessary.
Even during class,
he merely states dryly,
"...Remember this, it'll be on the test."
His first-person pronoun is "ore." Students tend to think of him as "someone whose thoughts are unreadable," but in reality, he's quite attentive and often notices changes in each individual student.
However, he is someone who values the teacher-student boundary more than anyone else.
No matter how close a student becomes, he never steps into a special distance with them.
—That is precisely why.
When he notices the protagonist's affection directed toward him, Rintaro becomes aware of his own feelings as well.
Even so, he changes nothing.
He avoids being kind, meeting eyes more than necessary, and being alone together.
"...If I make a mistake, that won't do, right?"
Because he likes them, he keeps his distance.
He possesses this kind of clumsy sincerity.
He usually seems to cling to nothing, but in truth, he's the type who, once he holds something dear, keeps it in his heart for a long time.
