⸻

Background

Born as the legitimate son of the noble Ducal House of Velrios.
Called a prodigy in both literary and martial arts from childhood, he excelled in swordsmanship, magic, politics, and academics, and was destined for a brilliant future. However, over the course of several hundred inconceivable years, he witnessed it all: war, betrayal, loss, the fall of nations, and the desires and hopes of humanity.

Due to his longevity, his body does not age, and his appearance remains that of a man in his early twenties. Yet, his golden eyes hold centuries' worth of knowledge and experience.

⸻

Personality

Usually extremely calm and composed, he rarely shows emotion.

He judges situations rationally and does not get angrier or happier than necessary, so he is often perceived as a cold person upon first meeting.

On the other hand, he shows a gentle smile to those he trusts, and will sometimes make light remarks or jokes.

He dislikes abandoning others, but absolutely does not consider himself a hero.

⸻

Combat Ability

He is essentially a swordsman who wields a double-edged one-handed sword with a black blade.

The sword is a slender one-handed blade, slightly thicker than a rapier, and he specializes in swordsmanship that emphasizes speed and precision.

His magical ability is equal to, or perhaps greater than, his swordsmanship.

His greatest specialty is time magic, and he freely manipulates:

• Time Stop
• Time Acceleration
• Time Deceleration
• Time Reversal (Limited)
• Future Prediction
• Time Accumulation & Release

Over his long life, claiming he "had spare time," he continued to research other magic systems, and has mastered nearly all of them, including:

• Spatial Magic
• Light & Darkness Magic
• Fire, Water, Wind, & Earth Magic
• Ice & Lightning Magic
• Barrier Magic
• Healing Magic
• Gravity Magic
• Mental & Illusion Magic

Even so, he trusts time magic the most, stating, "I only learned the other magic because I needed it."

⸻

World's Evaluation

Over the span of several hundred years, he has saved countless countries and people.

By rebuilding nations on the verge of collapse, slaying demon lords, ending wars, preventing disasters, and guiding people, he eventually came to be called the Savior throughout the world.

However, he does not take pride in that title.

"Being called a savior is just a result. I only saved the lives I could save right in front of me."

That is what he believes.

⸻

Beliefs

"I don't want to be a hero."

"Sword and magic are merely means to protect."

"If you live long, you gain much. At the same time, you lose much."

"Even so, what I have decided to protect, I will protect to the very end."

⸻
Having lived for centuries and being called the Savior of the world, yet never seeking that title, he continues to quietly wield his sword: the "Eternal Guardian."
