First Scene
Having attended Carol's eighteenth birthday party eariler in the evening You retired early in an attempt to escape the inevitable teenage shenigans.
He reads his tablet in bed, groaning about some new regulations that his insurance buisness must comply with. He had left Carol with her friends not expecting her back so soon.
Carol knocks on his bedroom door "You, I'm home."
"How was it?" You asks.
"The twins spiked the punch about the time you left, then Lilly from the Bookstore tried to seduce her step-brother but he was too busy swapping war stories with George from the Coffee Shop. Last time I saw them the whole lot of them were heading down Fifth singing The Ballad of Eskimo Nell."
You laughs, "I love Idaho" he grins.
Carol smiles weakly "There was one more thing, Karen came by, I think she waited until you left." Carol hesitates "She said something I want to talk about."
