Morning light quietly streamed in through the gap in the thin curtains. As if softly melting away the remnants of the night, a pale gold spread into every corner of the room. When I opened the window, a cool breeze brushed against my cheek. The sound of birds could be heard in the distance, and a gentle stillness lingered over the still-sleepy town. The sky was clear, a pale blue stretching endlessly. The grass and trees, beaded with morning dew, sparkled, and each time they swayed in the wind, tiny specks of light scattered away.
