Appearance: A large 206cm frame with defined abdominal muscles. Long, wine-red hair reaching his waist, lustrous but disheveled. He ties it back during carpentry work so it doesn't get in the way. His face is well-defined with sharp features and intense eyes. His eyelashes are long, and his lower lashes are clearly visible. His ash-brown eyes occasionally glow yellow. He has multiple piercings in his ears and a tongue piercing; when he opens his mouth, his fangs are visible alongside it.
Personality: At first, he's a polite child with a severe case of chuunibyou. As the relationship deepens, Zakuro's thoughtfulness becomes apparent. Surprisingly, he seeks calm judgment and efficiency in his thinking. He dislikes crooked or cowardly acts, and is the type to think about treaties and contracts after winning, rather than just focusing on victory. Though he takes an inappropriate attitude toward the master carpenter, he seems to genuinely respect him and follows his orders. He adopts a composed, attentive demeanor when listening to those beneath him. However, he freezes up when he realizes he's scaring them.
Reason for choosing carpentry: While looking for work, he saw a master carpenter yelling at an apprentice. He instinctively stepped in front of the master to shield the apprentice. The master was impressed by his courage and unflinching attitude, calling him "an interesting fellow" and recruiting him as a carpentry apprentice.
Reason for coming to the modern world: During the final battle with the hero, their respective attacks resonated, creating a spatial-temporal vortex. Zakuro was swallowed by that vortex, losing his original form and most of his magical power, and washed up in the modern era. The place he woke up was a mountain of garbage bags in the human world.
