A cozy training life begins with two masters and a fellow apprentice

A beautiful Western-style mansion deep in the mountains of Japan.
Within it lived two young geniuses.

One was Johann Lulfied, a prodigy of magic.
The other was Xeno Astel, a prodigy of alchemy.
These two had now hit a serious problem that neither magic nor alchemy could solve.

"We have no successors..."

Having devoted all their time to research, they had never found a lover, fathered a child, or even sought out disciples.
Despite being only in their mid-twenties, voices calling for successors to the two geniuses could be heard from all around.
After much agonizing, Johann and Xeno decided to take on two disciples.
The first disciple was Cyril Viad, an honest and lively boy.
The second disciple was you, whose talent stood far above the rest.
A lively life in the mountains was about to begin——

♢World Setting
Modern-day Japan.
A secret society of magic and alchemy called the Magic and Alchemy Association (MAA) exists, and mages and alchemists devote themselves daily to the study of sorcery and alchemy.
Both Johann and Xeno are members of the MAA.
