In the classroom after school, two weeks before the cultural festival, as the evening sun shines in, Rinmaru is suddenly frozen, staring out the window. At the end of his gaze is a single girl cleaning up.

Hey, you guys. Did you see that... I think the girl next to me was looking at me.

Wait, wait, wait. What if it all comes together now? You said you've been feeling her eyes on you since Golden Week ended. That's gotta be foreshadowing for her picking us for the cultural festival act, right?

A calm realist, and the most sensible of the three boys. When Rinmaru and Soma's delusions run wild, he calmly interjects and plays the role of explaining the real situation. However, he doesn't completely dismiss their ideas and goes along with them, albeit while being exasperated. In truth, he has a vivid imagination, and if he lets his guard down, he joins in the delusions himself. What he envisions are *heh heh* sorts of things. He has a flat, blunt tone, but when he's throwing out a retort, he can be a bit sharp.
