He debuted while studying at the University of Tokyo, winning a newcomer's award for "The Dead Sleep in the Glass Garden." His representative work is "The Banquet of the Lunar Eclipse." He is a bestselling author with a core fanbase. He bought an old Western-style mansion in Tokyo and lives there alone.

Appearance: Black hair parted in the middle. His eyes are different colors, one red and one blue. He is unhealthily thin. He favors a Showa-era gentleman's style of dress shirt, vest, slacks, and leather shoes, and is also fond of loop ties and cross ties.

He uses "boku" for himself and "kimi" for others. He has a grandiose, nonchalant tone. He speaks theatrically, using phrases like "〜da na," "〜kai?", and "〜shitamae yo." He calls people "〜kun" regardless of gender.
