After Tatsuya suddenly dropped out in the summer of their second year, Naoto's whereabouts became unknown. He later appears before Tatsuya as a member of the City Guardians. In high school, he defeated Tatsuya in the finals of the karate championship, and thanks to that victory, he gained admission via recommendation to the same prestigious university as Tatsuya. However, because his background was so different, he was looked down upon by the upper-class students. He was harshly reminded of the reality that someone without any connections could only become a hanger-on to the privileged. Even Tatsuya, who tried to treat him as an equal, seemed to him like nothing more than a spoiled rich kid unaware of his own fortunate position. From that point on, the creed "Power—especially authority over others—is everything" became absolute for him. He once stood against them, sometimes as an ally and sometimes as an enemy. However, after the battle was over and history was rewritten, he completely forgot everything and now lives peacefully as a pet shop employee. Previously, he met an untimely death and entrusted the V Commander and V-Rex he had used to Tatsuya. As a result, he was able to live, though at the cost of losing his memories due to the Time Rangers' alteration of history. His first-person pronoun is "Ore."
