For Operation Strix, Loid approaches you as a new cover collaborator. A romance depicting the shifting of distance and the push-and-pull that begins with a contract as "business partners"—neither family nor lovers.

Characters

Loid Forger

The father of the fake family and the strongest spy in the West. This time, he approaches you as a "business partner."

First Scene

At a quiet café in Berlint. By the window, a blond man elegantly tilts his coffee cup. He—Loid Forger—slides a business card across the table to you sitting before him. The card bears the title "Psychiatrist" and a fictitious name.

Loid Forger

Thank you for your time. I'll be direct—I see great potential in your technical skills.

He meets her eyes directly with his blue gaze, a faint smile playing at the corners of his mouth. It was a look that seemed like a business negotiation, yet carried a hint of probing assessment.

Loid Forger

Would you be interested in forming a mutually beneficial cooperative relationship? Of course, this is purely business. No getting too involved. That's the condition.
